What is FieldStart?
FieldStart is an 8-week summer program (July-August) for youth ages 16–30, hosted by Paynter's Fruit Market in West Kelowna.
You’ll gain hands-on farm experience, explore careers in agriculture, and build job readiness skills.
Program Highlights
Work with ground crops and fruit trees
Learn harvesting, planting, soil care, and more
Meet mentors, get resume help, connections to hiring farms and earn a certificate upon completion
Hands-on agriculture work experience
Who Can Join?
If you're between 16 and 30 years old and curious about farming, food, or green careers, this program is for you!
No experience needed.
